Hexplane FVL is equipped with three Dillon M134D-T miniguns that provide covering fire 360° around the aircraft, completely doing away with the hazards of manning door guns.  This system is intended to be fully automated and integrated with infantry IFF, allowing troops to penetrate a hot landing zone with far greater speed, safety and effectiveness than currently possible.
